Blood Red Show Announces a New Album

22 Feb 2012 / 0 Comment

The headlines are in for the duo from Brighton. A fabulous title in the guise of Blood Red Shoe means that this is anything but a conventional band. They have just announced a new album and a single titled ‘Cold’. This is right up the singing career that Laura-Mary Carter and Steven Ansell have created. This is the third foray into the album genre and they have chosen the title ‘In Time to Voices’. The release date is expected to be the 26th of March. However the single is coming out on the 19th of March courtesy of V2 or Co-Operative Music. They have other gigs planned as they tour the UK from April to May. Hopefully this will give them the chance to meet even more fans as they develop their brand identity.

A musical career that shows every sign of being magnificent

The bane of the music industry today is the series of poorly prepared bands that keep populating the airwaves. With Blood Red Shoe you get a totally different vibe. They do not appear to be hyped beyond reasonable limits and this gives them a certain amount of credibility which is hard to find elsewhere. From that perspective we can be broadly appreciative of the kind of work that has been done on the band. Four years ago they made a debut and they continue to work very hard on tours. This is way beyond the manufactured music that we are used to.

Their fan base is much larger than their origins. The Blood Red Shoe group has toured the globe with lots of success. Steven has been speaking about some of the pressures that the band faces even as they attempt to build their careers. The close proximity can also be something of a problem especially if you are missing loved ones at home. Nevertheless all the signs are that the band has been coping extremely well with all the responsibilities that come with a career of their calibre.
