Muse is Offering Some Scenes from the Album Sessions

The time has come when even the “behind-the-scenes” stuff is becoming a good marketing ploy for bands such as Muse. They understand that the intense public interest in their work can extend to those unguarded moments when the stars are busying ironing out some of the most difficult aspects of their ensemble. Reviews are no longer just about the content of the album but also the process through which it was created. There is a backup story that is the sophisticated version of the sob stories which we are meant to suffer during the countless number of talent contests on television at the moment.

Looking at the band from a totally different perspective

Twitter is the favorite communication tool for most people in the entertainment business today. That is why Muse decided that they had to share some of the work that was being done in an LA studio by going straight to twitter. The episode is particularly concentrated on the brass and string section of their preparation. In that way you cannot get an advance on the material and post it on YouTube. These bands are very clever in the way that they handle their marketing projects. It is not a surprise given the number of experts that are giving them advice.

This album will be some sort of follow-up on ‘The Resistance’ which came in 2009. We anticipate that their work will be completed in October this year. We can look forward to the 6th attempt by the Devonshire group as they go for the studio LP brands. According to the band, they had recorded some horn sections with legendary players but there was no further information to confirm which luminaries were in attendance. In any case it is an interesting attempt to keep the audiences glued up to the preparation of the album.
