Music Album Review of ‘Leather Apron, by ‘The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing’

Before we begin the album review, we must first complain about the unnecessarily long name for the band. Why does everyone feel that they have to get cheap publicity in order to be recognized? Hopeful ‘Leather Apron, by ‘The Men that will not be blamed for nothing’ will be worth the wait. Interestingly the record label that has been attached to the piece is none other than Dropout Studios. Are they trying to tell us something about the quality of their music?

Highlights: This is right up the Steam-Punk genre and they seem to have gotten the irritability down to an art form. This is not the type of music that we normally review but there is something about ‘Leather Apron, by ‘The Men that will not be blamed for nothing’. The length of the entire thing is nearly 30 minutes and you could be forgiven for wondering how you are going to come out alive by the end of the grueling session. In order to appreciate this music, it is absolutely essential that you get rid of any underlying prejudices or presumptions about the industry. You can then go about examining some of the wonderful variations that they bring to the industry as a whole.

This is just one of 11 tracks. You can get it on digital download but there are some limited editions that have all sorts of great things that will turn the experience into an odyssey of discovery. ‘Leather Apron, by ‘The Men that will not be blamed for nothing’ is all about challenging your ear and perception. There is an unapologetic element in terms of the way that they approach the themes within the album as a whole as well as the specific dynamics of the piece. Interestingly you come away with the feeling that something very traditional has been almost ravaged by the charms of the band members. This is one of the reasons why we find the music so attractive. These are not a bunch of punks who are shouting without meaning. Rather it is a subtle message on the transience of music.

The Good: We absolutely love the originality of this song. You will not find anything that remotely resembles their efforts.

The Bad: You should be prepared to be surprised and shocked. If you have a weak disposition then this is probably not the right album for you.
