Jack White has Announced a Debut Solo London Show

Striking out on his own has given Jack White a new lease of life. He has just announced a debut solo show in London where he will headline a series of prestigious events. The dynamics involved in this sort of work are very different from the situation that he was in when working with the White Stripes. Now he will have to set his agenda and cope with the audience expectations all on his own. The highlight of his tour is a performance at the Hammersmith Apollo venue in June this year. It kicks off on the 22nd of that month. He will also play at the Hackney Weekend which has been organized by Radio 1. Before that, he has a rather extensive tour within the USA.

Has this been a successful solo career?

We cannot say yet until we see what has to offer over the next two years. Nevertheless it seems that Jack White is being various serious about his debut and solo career. They are not going to be half hearted false starts which can dent one’s confidence significantly. Instead we have a singer that will try to export his brand of music to the UK as well as participating in the boom which is always present within the USA. The singer is also promoting his Third Man Records label when he starts off his tours in Nashville on the 15th of May. That leg of the tour will end in Los Angeles on the 31st of May.

The European tour has been scheduled to begin in Amsterdam on the 25th of June. We have been informed that his solo album ‘Blunderbuss’ is now being offered on a digital pre-order basis. You can download it from the iTunes store within the European region. His website is also offering the album. There is also a bonus for those who order the album because they will get a download of ‘Sixteen Saltines’ which is a new single.
