Jack White Uses Helium Balloons to Release a New Track

You know that music marketing has gone through the roof when stars are releasing singles using helium balloons. It seems that Jack White has just proved that theory right after using the methodology to put out ‘Freedom at 21’, a new track. This is his debut solo album so it is rather brave of him to use unconventional means instead of going for the formulas that have worked for his peers over the years. The jury is still out on ‘Blunderbuss’ but nobody can fault the artist for not putting in enough effort. Clearly this is someone that is not going to ignore the realities of playing entertainment roles. The singer has gone onto the market with his own label ‘Third Man’ in order to guarantee success.

Assessing the impact of the track and album

Of course the competition will have a role to play in determining whether Jack White is really going to be successful. However a YouTube preview of the material shows that the artist is really doing well. Most of the work is done in Nashville where the record label has placed its head quarters. It was reported that the singer then released the vinyl records which were attacked to a balloon on the 1st of April. It might have been a prank for the day that is notorious for these sorts of things.

The fans will be disappointed if they look for the balloons and find nothing of the sort. This is the third track from the album. ‘Freedom at 21’ promises something of a combination between coming of age and rebellion. The full album is going to be released on the 23rd of April. The singer is also an excellent guitarist and therefore has an all round knowledge of the music that he is working on. Recently he left The White Stripes in order to start a solo career under the name Jack White.
