The band ‘Green Day’ has unveiled the artwork for their new album. It is part of a trilogy of albums that are set to be released between 2012 and 2013. The artwork is going to accompany ‘iUno!‘ which is due to officially come out in September this year. In November they will release the 2nd installment titled ‘¡Dos!’ before finally releasing the third album ‘¡Tré!’ in January 2013.
- The most prolific and creative time of their lives: The band recently commented on how much work they are doing. According to them this is the best music that they have ever written and the songs will keep coming.
Instead of a single album ‘Green Day’ is releasing three. They say that every song that they are working on has power and energy. Furthermore they are hoping to portray different emotional levels in their work. They say that they cannot just help themselves because they are ‘epic as fuck’.
The last album they released was ‘21st Century Breakdown’ which came out in 2009. The album ‘iUno!‘ is going to be released in Ireland on the 21st of September before moving on to other parts. The tracks include ‘Fell for You’, ‘Carpe Diem’, ‘Crushing B*stards’, ‘Stay the Night’, ‘It’s F*ck Time’, ‘Teenage Blue/Angle Blue’, ‘Wild One’, ‘Kill the DJ’ and ‘Makeout Party’. It is an exciting time for a band that has taken on quite a lot of work in their trilogy of albums.
