Miracle: Adele’s Song Brings a 7-Year-Old Girl Out of Coma

This brings a new meaning to the term ‘heavenly voice’. A song that was sung by the British singer Adele has been credited with bringing a 7 year old girl out of a coma. This has to be one of the biggest achievements that Adele has enjoyed. According to reports Charlotte Neve suffered a brain hemorrhage in April 2011. That left her in a coma and doctors told her mum Leila that she had to start saying goodbyes to her daughter. When the 31 year old cuddled her daughter in the hospital, a miracle happened.

-      What changed her life? Neve started to sing ‘Rolling in the Deep’ to her little girl. It was reportedly one of her favorite songs. This happened once it came on the radio. Charlotte amazed her mom by responding. Leila could not believe it because this was the first time that her daughter had reacted to anything since the coma.

The nurses were astonished by the unexpected recovery. They advised Leila to continue singing. She described the experience as being akin to rebooting. Charlotte then received some occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech therapy before returning home.  She said ‘home sweet home’ when she was first allowed to return home after her illness.

A song moves a child

Leila Neve describes Charlotte as a brilliant child that is determined even when her bravery was tested. The doctors have since stopped instructing the family on what they should do because they were astonished by the recovery that the little girl has made since the singing episode. It looks like Adele can do a lot more than mend broken hearts. Her voice has been credited with moving voices but not in this way. Meanwhile the singer has received profuse apologies from Robert Pattison with whom she had a media spat.
