It is the second part of their trilogy and now Green Day has revealed the artwork for the middle installment of ‘¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré!’. It is very similar to the first set and features Mike Dirnt’s face where his eyes are blacked out. ‘¡Dos!’-Comes hot on the heels of their first installment which was well received. ¡Uno!-comes out on September 24 in the UK. Audiences in the USA can catch it a day later. ¡Dos! and ¡Tré!-are scheduled to be released on the 12th of Nov 2012 and the 14th of January 2013 respectively in the UK. It will then hit the stands in the USA the following day.

Green Day explains the album

It was earlier this week when the band explained their ideas. According to the band;-‘¡Uno!¡Dos! ¡Tré!’ is going to be a mixture between ‘The Beatles’ and AC/DC. A trailer has been released in order to support the second installation of this remarkable music set. It is the 9th studio album for the American Punk Rock band. They have elected to release three different subsections between 2012 and 2013.

Apparently they started recording new material on Valentine’s Day on the 14th of February 2012. They have worked with their long term producer Rob Cavallo on this project. The music critics have praised-‘¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré!’ The trilogy is a revolutionary concept that tells us a lot about where Green Day is artistically. Of course some people are waiting to see whether the quality of the music lives up to the hype that they are inevitably benefitting from.
