Incubus is to release a new live album and DVD in August
It has been reported that Incubus is going to release a new live album and DVD in August. The group has worked very hard to become ultra-accessible for their fans. This follows their few years on a hiatus. An expensive multi-disc set is the latest attempt to keep fans happy. It features their performances at the Incubus HQ in West Hollywood. They overhauled their website and have gone the distance in building a closer relationship with their fans.
- Rediscovering the old music magic: Hopeful their fanbase appreciates the efforts made by the band to get closer to them. The veteran alt-rockers bought a gallery-size property in the famous La Brea Avenue within the precincts of West Hollywood. They then dubbed it their HQ.
The singer Brandon Boyd has been reflecting on their stellar career which includes 7 albums, 20 years of singing, multiple albums and countless EPs/DVDs. The group has delivered in excess of 1,500 live shows. Incubus has decided to invite their fans into their recording studio figuratively. They use social media to invite people to their sets which are spread over six nights.
