Two Door Cinema Club are Giving Away a Free Download of their New Single Titled ‘Sleep Alone’

You can now get yourself a free download copy of the new single ‘Sleep Alone’ by Two Door Cinema Club. The band is engaging in some sort of giveaway for their fans. Meanwhile the trio from Northern Ireland released their single on the 19^th of July. It is an extract from their latest album titled ‘Beacon’. This is the second album for the band and the debut occurred on Radio 1 at 7.30pm BST. Over the subsequent 24 hours, it was made available as a free download from the band’s official website at Twodoorcinemaclub.com.

- Waiting for the formal release: This is almost a mere tester for the single which is officially coming out on the 21^st of July as a digital download. You will get it as a 7” single on the 3^rd of September later this year. The full ‘Beacon’ album will be released on the 3^rd of September. A video trailer is now available on the internet.

It is a follow-up to the band’s effort in 2010 with an album titled ‘Tourist History’. The current release was recording in LA during April. It was produced by Jacknife Lee who is credited with working with REM, U2 and Bloc Party. Apparently he worked in his home studios. Alex Trimble has been speaking about the album which he describes as being a bit more intimate that their first record. However they have tried to make it more inclusive and even bigger.

The right musical balance is at stake

The band has been attempting to meet the expectations of both the fans and the industry critics. Trimble is of the view that the latest album is taking them closer to the dream image for the group. He added that his work with Jacknife Lee was a pleasure. They shared the same goals and he helped them put the pieces together. During this exciting period they managed to come up with the following tracklisting for ‘Beacon’:

This is not the first time that Two Door Cinema Club is enjoying success. Their debut feature titled ‘Tourist History’ was an astonishing success. It managed to sell millions of copies across the globe and brought the band to international fame. They have subsequently built a strong and loyal fanbase.
