Pink has premiered her New video provocatively titled ‘Blow Me (One Last Kiss)’

The video for ‘Blow Me (One Last Kiss)’ by Pink has had its premier. The new clip was premiered by the singer on Thursday. It is a black and white video which pays tribute to vintage French cinema. The only time that the palette is broken is when there is a red wine spillage by Pink on her unfortunate lover. Dave Meyers is the usual suspect when it comes to directing Pink’s videos and this is no different. It is the first sample of the material from the upcoming album titled ‘The Truth about Love’. This is the first full-length effort by the singer since she released ‘Funhouse’ in 2008.

-      Quirky bits and standard sensationalism: In addition to the new album Pink has written a pair songs for Cher. The legendary singer confirmed the news on her official Twitter Page. Apparently the two songs could be out by the end of the year.

The new clip is all about revenge and this is something that the singer has been very good at. Despite her numerous accomplishments, Pink is reluctant to take praise. She only grudgingly admits that she is happy about her forthcoming album. The first line of the song is very sarcastic and the double-entendre could not have been lost on her fans who already know that she is always willing to push the boundaries if necessary.

Two worlds and one artist

Her marriage to Carey Hart has been blessed with happiness and they have a new daughter. Nevertheless the artist says that this is the first album to focus on the brighter side of her life despite the fact that it uses sarcasm and dark humor. The singer says that the general doom and gloom of her material sometimes scares her. The new clip is a mixture of humor and dark thoughts. Her long term collaboration with Dave Meyers has paid off once again.

The dream-like scenery captures the essence of French cinema to the core. Pink is seen sitting with her paramour in an idyllic meadow. He then makes a phone call and that spoils the mood completely. She wanders off and comes across a handsome guy. He gives her a lift and then sketches a sexy scene for her. All this can only happen in French movies. We then move to a lavish party where the singer channels Marlene Dietrich. She toys with gender roles in a seductive dance. Once again she is annoyed when a marriage proposal is made to someone else. You can judge for yourself by the video:
