The xx debut their new Dance Track Titled ‘Swept away’ in Los Angeles

Very soon you will be able to hear the new dance track ‘Swept away’ by ‘The xx’. The song had its debut in LA as the band made yet another bid for the top of the music charts. We are reliably informed that the track will feature on their forthcoming album titled ‘Coexist’.  The track has a heavy dance fell and is taken from their forthcoming 2nd studio album which is due to be dropped on the 10th of September. Jamie Smith doubles as a member of the band and a producer for this album. Just last month the band unveiled the first track from the album. ‘Angels’ was later performed on Conan, the US TV Show.

-      Some intimate shows: The band has announced that they will be in London during September. They are scheduled to perform a trio of intimate shows starting at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on the 10th of September. This happens to be the release date for their upcoming album ‘Coexist’. Other gigs are planned at the Coal Exchange in Cardiff on the 11th and the Usher Hall in Edinburgh on the 12th. You can catch them at the Bestival at the Isle of Wight on the 7th of September.

The band has said that they have gained confidence even as they worked on ‘Coexist’. Romy Madley Croft says that they hate feeling cripplingly shy about things. The tracklisting for their new album is as follows:

The tickets for the three intimate shows started selling on the 27th of July. The previews of the band’s forthcoming album are very positive and the band will be helped by some shows in North America and Europe in the run-up to the launch of their album.

Making a big announcement

The xx’ were at The Fonda in Los Angeles when they dropped ‘Swept Away’. It is a testament to their newfound confidence in their art and marketability. The response from the fans has been very enthusiastic for this popular band. Now that footage of the band in action is online, fans can judge for themselves. You can tell that the band is still very much interested in bass music and dance culture.
