Lady Gaga has Revealed the Title of her New Album

She kept that one quiet. However Lady Gaga has now revealed the title of her new album. It is a rather quick follow-up to the hugely successful campaign set ‘Born this Way’. We now know that her third studio album is going to be called ‘ARTPOP’. She has indicated that it is likely to be released in early 2013. Over the weekend she tweeted the title of her forthcoming LOP. There is also a new tattoo on her upper arm. Is it a commemorative label?

The singer is ignoring the noise and getting on with her career

Idiosyncratic as ever, Lady Gaga insists that the title has to be written in capital letters. She has described this as an album or project. Currently she is in the middle of her ‘Born this Way’ Ball World Tour. It features an amazing 110 dates. Her European leg will be in Sofia the capital of Bulgaria on the 14^th of August. She will then move on to the UK with two dates at Twickenham on the 8^th and 9^th of September. A third show at the Manchester Arena will be scheduled on the 11^th of September.

Last month Lady Gaga announced that she will make her acting debut in a new Robert Rodriguez movie titled ‘Machete Kills’. In it she plays the character ‘La Chameleon’. It is a sequel to a 2010 action exploitation movie by the same author titled ‘Machete’. They are currently shooting and hoping for a 2013 release. Jessica Alba, Danny Trejo and Michelle Rodriguez are going to reprise their roles from the original. Other stars include the fairly toxic Mel Gibson as well as Vanessa Hudgens and Charlie Sheen. It looks like it is going to be a celebrity-packed feature.
