Eminem’s Manager Denies Rumors that the Rapper is Going to do a Duet with Lady Gaga
Setting the contrasting styles aside, these are totally different people. However a rumor has developed that Lady Gaga could be doing a duet with Eminem. His manager has quickly shot down those rumors. Paul Rosenberg felt it necessary to go on twitter to deny the reports. Currently ‘Slim Shady’ is working on new material. It was rumored that he recorded a collaboration piece titled ‘Street Lights’ with the ‘Born this Way’ singer. The story also indicated that they had roped the hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar into the scheme.
- Quashing the reports: Rosenberg said that when people do not hear from Marshall they start making up stuff. However there is an interview that Eminem gave to MTV Rapfix in which he claimed to have recorded an upbeat song with Gaga. The report alleged that they did not have a release date yet but that Eminem had confessed to doing the song with Kendrick as well.
In any case Eminem is still growing in popularity. Last week he became the first musician to secure over 60 million fans on FaceBook. That feat allowed him to beat Rihanna and Lady Gaga to the record. For a long time he has been the most popular person on the social networking site and he took that honor from Michael Jackson in 2009.
Other projects are in the works
Recently the rapper confirmed that he had started work on his new album. His regular producer Dr Dre will be involved. In 2010 he released his 7th studio album titled ‘Recovery’. Earlier this year he was forced to postpone filming for his second lead role in a movie titled ‘Southpaw’. This was done in order to give him time to focus on his new record. However his most recent recorded output came about as a result of a collaborative effort with the rapper Joyce Da 5’9’ under the Bad Meets Evil name. Their debut EP was titled ‘Hell: Sequel’ and it was released in 2011. Here is a clip of Eminem doing ‘We Made You’:
