The Bombay Bicycle Club have Debuted Two New Tracks in the USA

Things are getting better and better for the Bombay Bicycle Club. The club has debuted two new tracks in the USA. You can watch them by clicking the link at the end of this article. ‘You Carry Me’ and ‘It’s Alright Now’ will feature on their American tour. In addition we hear that the two numbers are likely to feature on their forthcoming fourth album.

-      The band speaks out: Jack Steadman was recently giving an interview where he said that the previous claims that their new record was going to feature lots of electronic features was not strictly true. He admitted that they are not making big changes in their style because there were still operating like a band with a basic sound.

Previously he had admitted to being nervous about making a new album. Of course that did not stop people from speculating about the new record. In any case the claims about the change of direction were grossly exaggerated. The Bombay Bicycle Club member says that making any new album means that you get people ‘talking loads of shit’ when you embark on a new musical project. Therefore any claims about their album before it came out were rather pointless.

Other engagements for the group

Apart from their American sojourn, the Bombay Bicycle Club will be opening the set for Blur. This will happen at a Hyde Park show in London which is scheduled to take place on the 12th of August. It is not clear how the fans are going to react to the alleged change in direction or whether they are going to be happy with their band as it is. In any case they seem to be on top of their game.
