Muse have Unveiled a New Track Titled ‘Unsustainable’
These are busy times for Muse. The group has unveiled a new track ‘Unsustainable’ which you can listen to by clicking the link at the end of this article. The song has made its online debut. In fact this is the second track that the band is previewing from their upcoming album. ‘The 2nd Law’ will be dropped at any moment. However the first time that their new track was unveiled was during a trailer for the album. It is notable for the dubstep elements that they have included.
An extended version of the video has also been released. In it the world is facing a crisis while a handful of people escape through a forest. Muse is deliberately pointing out the effects of our modern lifestyles in a clip that is subtle. UK fans will get a copy of the new album from the 17th of September but US audiences have to wait for a day longer after their European launch.
A collection that also pays tribute to a sporting event
Apparently the collection that the band has in mind also includes their London 2012 Olympics Song which is titled ‘Survival’. You can download it now from a variety of websites. Meanwhile the band has confirmed that they will be part of the line-up for the closing ceremony which is due to be held on the 12th of August. Fans who pre-ordered the band’s album will also get access to the new clip.
The ‘Unsustainable’ release is not the second from the album but they have let it be known that they will release ‘Madness’ instead on the 20th of August. We are not yet clear whether the debut is going to be online or on radio prior to that official release date. Their last full album was ‘The Resistance’ which came out in 2009. A total of 13 tracks will be included on their forthcoming effort with the single ‘Survival’ featuring prominently.
The trio from Devon is due to tour the United Kingdom in October this year. They will begin in Glasgow on the 24th of October at the SECC. Thereafter you can catch them at the O2 Arena in London. Two shows are scheduled for the 26th and 27th of that month. On the 30th they will be at the Birmingham LG Arena and the final date will be at the Manchester Arena on the 1st of November.
