‘Guns N’ Roses’ have announced a Run of Shows in a Las Vegas Casino
Are they taking a gamble or what? Guns N’ Roses have announced that they will be doing a run at a Las Vegas casino. Axl Rose will be playing 12 dates in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino within the city. Moreover the rockers plan to play a run of shows which are titled ‘Appetite for Democracy’. During the residency they hope to deliver wide-ranging performances that cover their career. Each of their set lists is said to highlight a particular point in their distinguished careers within the entertainment industry. It will all begin on the 31st of October with other dates running up to the 24th of November
Meanwhile Guns N’ Roses have just completed an extensive European tour. This included a troubled UK arena trek where they were pelted with pint glasses and money following a sour end to the concert. Prior to beginning the tour, the band had indicated that they were recording the follow-up to ‘Chinese Democracy’ and this would be their priority for the foreseeable future.
New releases and new projects
Guns N’ Roses have released their sixth album 15 years after their previous effort. The band’s guitarist DJ Ashba has been working with Axl Rose on material for seventeenth studio effort. He said that their priority was making a new album. Axl had already done quite a bit of recording which just needs to be arranged in such a way as to form a coherent album. So far Ashba has come up with 12 songs and he claims that this figure is much lower than what his bandmate has been able to produce. The band was recently inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame despite the fact that their frontman Axl Rose insisted on boycotting the ceremony. Catch the band performing at the link below:
