The New Single ‘Madness’ by Muse has been Unveiled

Muse have decided to sing about a fight with Kate Hudson. One would not immediately think of Muse as a warring band but that is why the reason behind their new single ‘Madness’ is so intriguing. Apparently it was inspired by a quarrel between their frontman Matt Bellamy and his girlfriend Kate Hudson. This is the first track to be extracted from the band’s forthcoming album ‘The 2nd Law’. Matt admitted in an interview with KROQ that he had been fighting with his actress girlfriend and that inspired him to write his favorite song ever.

The gossip-mongers need not get their knickers in a twist. He says that it was nothing serious but just one of those moments where he was left to think about things for a day. The frontman admits that he rarely does songs based on cathartic effects but he is making an exception on this one. At the time he only had a drum machine and a synthesizer. Very little was required but the end result turned out very well.

A small idea becomes a big tune

Matt Bellamy was not convinced that the rest of the band would like his new song given the fact that it contained minimal sound. In the end Muse loved it and they took it to another level by adding extra parts. Recently he said that a recording of his son Bingham’s heartbeat will feature on the band’s forthcoming album. The band was invited to perform at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games where they performed their song ‘Survival’. Some critics were not impressed by the efforts of the rockers but others were ecstatic.

Their forays into dubstep are going to win them even more fans. The new track has been compared to a little prince with a beautiful guitar solo. Thereafter they come up with a euphoric climax. ‘The 2nd Law’ will be released on the 1st of October and the band hopes to do some tours alongside. The clip below is just an indicator of how the band has handled their talent so far:
