Green Day have Confirmed that they will make a ‘Dookie’ Appearance at the Reading Festival as well as Doing a London Stadium Show

Green Day is continuing their breathtaking pace in London and Reading.

There is a lot going on and Green Day is not prepared to rest for a moment. It was been reported that the group will be at the Reading Festival, making the much-vaunted ‘Dookie’ appearance. They are also in the process of preparing for a London stadium show. The pop punk band has a very busy schedule including the release of a trilogy of albums as well as a headline appearance at the Emirates Stadium on the 1st of June next year. In January 2013, they will be releasing the final part of their trilogy.

The appearance at Reading will give them an opportunity to play their seminal album of 1994 titled ‘Dookie’. For some reason the members of this band look much younger than their years. You could almost imagine them just arriving on the music scene and taking it by storm.

Next year Green Day embarks on a UK tour which kicks off in London. The news was broken on Radio 1 as did yet another publicity stop. The pop punk veterans announced a show at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire on the 23rd of August. Billie Joe Armstrong wrote on his twitter feed saying hello to England. He then cheekily asked them what rhymes with shredding. This will be the first appearance by the band at the prestigious festival since they headlined it in 2004.

Surprise show after surprise show

Green Day have a number of things up their sleeves including a surprise appearance t Le Trianon in Paris on Monday the 27th of August. On the 24th of September they will be releasing the first album in their trilogy ‘¡Uno!’, ‘¡Dos!’, ‘¡Tré!’. Just last week they debuted the track ‘Kill the DJ’ which was taken from the first album. They promise more surprises even as the sequence is opened up. Recently the fans were treated to a NSFW video of the lead single ‘Oh Love’ from their first album in the set ‘¡Uno!’. Here is a clip of Green Day for the fans:
