Green Day has debuted their New Video for ‘Kill the DJ’ and it is Brutal

Green Day has been dabbling in a bit of video brutality.

Those fans who have been given the chance to watch the new video for ‘Kill the DJ’ have concluded that Green Day has decided to go for a hint of brutality in their new clip. The promo shows Billie Joe Armstrong and his bandmates mounting their motorbikes and causing mayhem. The pop-punk trio then ride through the desert as they weave their way towards a dark nightclub. When they are inside, the group performs in front of a packed crowed. They continue to play even when a fight breaks out between two ladies. Both end up with bloody noses.

Has Billie fully recovered from his ordeal?

The band was forced to pull out of a gig in Bologna when their lead singer was rushed to hospital. The illness was not disclosed but it seems that the band is going ahead with their promotional work for the forthcoming trilogy of albums. In any case we know that Billie Joe Armstrong has been discharged. Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool apologized to the fans for the cancellation but then promised that they would be back next summer. You can also catch the group when they fill the 60,000-capacity Emirates Stadium on the 1st of June next year. Tickets for this long-awaited event go on sale from the 28th of September this year.

It is all part of the ‘¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré!’ trilogy which is being released in dribs and drabs. On the 24th of September the first installment will come out followed by the middle album on the 12th of November before the final release on the 12th of January next year. Two documentaries have been prepared as part of the publicity. Here is Green Day doing their bit on video.
