Kanye West has Been Rapping about the Kim Kardashian Sex Tape
Singing about sex tapes may be back in vogue…Kanye is doing it!!!
She is supposed to be his girlfriend and they are allegedly madly in love but that has not stopped Kanye West from doing a rap about the notorious tape which launched Kim Kardashian onto the big celebrity stage. One would have thought that he would be anxious to keep those embarrassing details secret. His new song ‘Clique’ pays some sort of bizarre tribute to ‘Kim Kardashian: Superstar’.
Of course this could be a hoax…she is well experienced in those. However TMZ claims to have heard the track which is an extract from the West album titled ‘Cruel Summer’. It is littered with references to various things but one caught their attention because it related to that homemade porno of the reality television queen: “Eat breakfast at Gucci/My girl a superstar all from a home movie”.
Is this the way to treat your girlfriend Kanye?
It was only last month that Kanye West wrote a song that was sensitively titled ‘Perfect Bitch’. Apparently that is an endearing reference to his new girlfriend. He then went on Twitter to inform the world that he had written the track about Kim. From a musical point of view, there was interest in the sample taken from ‘Carmina Burana’, a classic composition by the German composer Carl Orff done in 1937. This seems to be a favorite for modern musicians…even Nas lifted it for his single titled ‘Hate me now’.
The new song by Kanye West was debuted along a clutch of other pieces during a DJ Set at the New York club PH-D Rooftop Lounge. Later this year Kanye will be releasing a new solo album but there are no indications as to whether the song will be included on the tracklist. In a move that surely ranks as one of the most hypocritical of all time, West questioned the prevalence of the word ‘bitch’ in hip-hop lyrics. He wonders whether it is really acceptable but then goes on to use it in his songs.
