Kylie Minogue has Announced a New Abbey Road Studios Album

Is Kylie making a major comeback?

She is the undisputable sweet pop princess who has beaten cancer and now Kylie Minogue is going to give her fans something more. She has announced a new album that was created at the Abbey Road Studios, a famous establishment within the annals of the music industry. This new set from the Aussie pop queen is expected to come out on the 29th of October thanks to the orchestral output that is ‘The Abbey Road Sessions’. The studio in London has been the home to iconic bands including The Beatles. One of the highlights of the set is the new song ‘Flower’. In addition a host of the Australian’s classic songs will be released using new orchestral arrangements.

Looking back at a remarkable pop queen’s career

The album features Nick Cave. He re-recorded his part on the pair’s duet ‘Where the Wild Roses Grow’ which was released in 1996. Fans of Kylie Minogue will recognize many of the hits that are played on the track including ‘The Locomotion’, ‘Better the Devil you Know’, ‘Hand on your Heart’, ‘I should be so lucky’ and ‘Slow’. These are the hits that made Kylie a household name following her stint on Neighbors, the Aussie soap opera of yore. Songs from the new album are scheduled to be performed on the 8th of September in London when the singer will be headlining the Proms in the Park event which is traditionally held in Hyde Park. The BBC Symphony Orchestra will be accompanying her.
