The Duet ‘Here Comes the Weekend’ by Eminem and Pink has Emerged Online

Two of the most dynamic music acts in US music have joined hands to create the duet ‘Here Comes the Weekend’. The number has emerged online and shows Pink and Eminem at their very best. It is the second track to be revealed from ‘The Truth about Love’ a new album by Pink. That album also includes contributions from Lily Allen. One of its highlights is the latest single ‘Blow Me (One Last Kiss)’ which has been a fixture on many celebrity events. The collaboration between the rapper and Pink is not as surprising as first appearances may suggest.
- Is this a match made in heaven? Pink recently described how they came to agree on making the music. Apparently Eminem asked her whether she wanted to do a song with him and she responded ‘Fuck Yeah!’ A handshake sealed the deal because nothing was signed.
Described as an alternative club banger, ‘Here Comes the Weekend’ has the potential to turn into one of the great dance hits of our generation. The pair has recorded another track which will be released in the future. Fans will undoubtedly look forward to collaborations between two of the biggest acts in this industry.

Now that it is online, everyone has a chance to comment on the kind of singing that the pair has brought to the table. So far the responses have been excellent. The celebrity factor is not being ignored because the album by Pink also features appearances from Nate Ruess, the frontman for Fun. He will be singing on the track ‘Just Give Me a Reason’. This is the sixth album of Pink’s illustrious career. It will be released on the 17th of September in the UK and on the 18th of September in the USA. Meanwhile the singer plans to headline a show at the Roundhouse in London today as part of the iTunes Festival.
