Grillz are made from an impression of your teeth and are mostly covered in precious materials such as gold, platinum, silver and sometimes diamonds.

Paul Wall is an American rapper who now owns his own grill design company that offers custom made grillz. All you need to do is get a dentist to take a mold of your teeth and Paul Wall Grillz will deliver you your perfect set of grillz. Wall said that the grillz he currently wears are priced around $20,000 although whether this is true is debatable. This is because he was actually photographed wearing a $30,000. But I suppose if you have your own grillz company you are bound to own more than one pair.

T-Pain
The American singer-songwriter T-pain owns a set of grillz that are completely covered in yellow diamonds. These particular grillz are said to be worth around the $30,000 mark. Ironically, T-Pain’s grillz brought him a bit of pain when his golf cart flipped over and they caused some cuts and abrasions to his mouth.
Lil Jon
Lil Jon had his grillz made using platinum and diamonds. His grillz are the most expensive in the list so far as they set him back a crazy $50,000. But his expensive grillz certainly did not go by unrecognized by the rest of the Hip-hop world as in 2009 Lil Jon was dubbed “King of da Grillz”. I bet he was pretty happy by that, and so he should be forking out $50,000 for his mouth.
Kelis and Nas
I bet you have heard of matching wedding rings, matching tattoos but never of matching grillz. When Kelis and Nas got engaged back in 2004 they decided to celebrate it by purchasing matching grillz that for $36,000 for each pair. Unfortunately Kelis and Nas have since divorced and I doubt that either of them still wear their grillz.
Lil Wayne
Lil Wayne definitely tops the list of most expensive Grillz in Hip-hop by owning a pair of Grillz valued at $150,000. His grillz also kept him out of jail in 2010 as he needed a lot of dental work carrying out. The work included having 8 root canal procedures and a lot of other work on his diamond covered teeth.
