Lady Gaga Performs New Version of Rap Track ‘Cake Like Lady Gaga’

Lady Gaga is at it again. Mother Monster, as she is fondly called by her fans, performed a new version of her rap song ‘Cake Like Lady Gaga.’ The popular singer staged the debut on the recent Mugler fashion show held in Paris. The controversial performer did not reveal much about the song to her audience. While she did not state if the song was actually her original, many of the fans note that lyrics of the track are ‘Gaga-centric.’
The lyrics was supposed to draw more attention. Aside from the explicitness, a male voice was heard in the middle of the track. To the surprise of everyone, the anonymous voice somehow joked about Lady Gaga’s reported weight gain.
Last August, Lady Gaga leaked the title of her new and forthcoming CD: ARTPOP. The studio album is expected to be out by early 2013. In a separate event, songwriter and singer Tony Bennett has revealed that he will be doing a jazz album with Lady Gaga soon, a lengthier follow-up to their recent collaboration—a cover of the song ‘The Lady is a Tramp,’ which was included in Bennett’s 2011 album ‘Duets.’
Lady Gaga has also announced her foray into the silverscreen. The chart-topping performer is set to take her acting debut via a new Robert Rodriguez flick to be titled ‘Machete Kills.’ She is set to play the character of La Chameleon in the planned movie, which will be an actual sequel to the 2010 action movie ‘Machete,’ also directed by Robert Rodriguez. In the earlier mentioned Mugler fashion show, Lady Gaga was not just a guest performer. She also served as the show’s musical director.
