Dog Is Dead Provides Preview to its Upcoming Debut Album

10 tracks from the new album can
be heard online prior to the
album release.

In an effort to pave the way for the forthcoming release of its debut album, Dog Is Dead has provided a preview to its CD ‘All Our Favourite Stories.’ The tracks can now be heard via online audio streaming exclusively on NME.com. The band apparently wants to give its fans a taste of what its album will bring.

The first album is scheduled to be released on October 8. Dog Is Dead fans have been anticipating the CD, which includes its popular singles ‘Two Devils,’ ‘Hands Down,’ and ‘Glockenspiel Song.’ It also includes the new track ‘Talk through the Night.’

Vocalist Rob Milton has issued a comprehensive description of ‘All Our Favourite Stories.’ According to him, the album summarizes all five years of the band. He added that the CD is a product of the members’ growth and adventures in creating music as a group. The tracks can relate to the group’s high and low moments as well as the fun of all drunken nights, the bliss of new love, and everything else that followed.

Dog Is Dead is a five-member indie pop band. The group came from West Bridgford, Nottingham. It consists of Robert Milton on vocals and bass guitar, Rob White on vocals and guitar, Joss Van Wilder on keyboards, Lawrence Cole on vocals and saxophone, and Daniel Harvey on drums. The band’s music is characterized as a unique blend of indie pop and disco with a hint of jazz. The group says it aims to uplift pop music for choir folk and jazz fans.

The preview includes 10 selected tracks from the upcoming CD. To listen, fans can check out the NME Website. After the release of its debut album, the band will go on tour in October and November.
