One Direction Unveils Track List of New Album

Popular British boy band has
unveiled a list of songs to be
included in its much anticipated
new album to be released
next month.

One Direction has announced the official track list of its sophomore studio album, which is scheduled for a November 13 release. The new CD ‘Take Me Home’ will be a follow-up to the boy band’s 2011 debut album ‘Up All Night,’ a phenomenal success that buoyed the group into the mainstream music scene. The first album easily topped worldwide music charts in no time.

‘Take Me Home’ features 13 tracks. Music video of lead track ‘Live while We’re Young’ has broken the record for getting the highest number of online views within 24 hours following its VEVO release in September. The video exceeded the record views for the music video of Justin Bieber’s single ‘Boyfriend,’ which obtained more than 8.24 million views in a single day.

It can be noted that titles of other tracks in the album are swoon-worthy. Among those are ‘Last First Kiss,’ ‘Kiss You,’ and ‘Summer Love.’ ‘Take Me Home’ will also be released in deluxe format with a bonus four additional tracks. It will also be out in A5 yearbook format, which includes pictures of the group members Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne. The new album also featured a new flavor. It was the first time the group worked with Dr. Luke, the pop producer.

The English boy band was formed in 2010 after it joined the British TV show The X Factor (Season 7). One Direction did not win the competition and placed only third but it was immediately signed by Syco Records, the record label owned by Simon Cowell. The group was eventually signed by Columbia Records in North America.
