I Am Kloot Releases Music Video for ‘Hold Back the Night’
The English trio’s new music
video will be formally
released on November 5
but fans who can no longer
wait can catch it through NME.
I Am Kloot has unveiled the music video for its new single ‘Hold Back the Night.’ The acclaimed three-man band said the single will be the first from its anticipated new LP. The video will be formally out on November 5 but it can now be viewed exclusively on the Website NME.com.
The track was written by John Bramwell. It was produced by Elbow’s Craig Potter and Guy Garvey. The song is a dark and brooding piece anchored by the haunting vocal of Bramwell. The single also features the dramatic orchestral flourish that noticeably builds as the song gets into an epic finale.
‘Hold Back the Night’ is one of the tracks included in the group’s next album. Its sixth studio CD, ‘Let It All In’ will be released in January next year. It will be a follow-up to the album ‘Sky at Night,’ which was Mercury nominated and which symbolizes the band’s paved status as classic song-makers from the UK.
In an interview, Bramwell revealed that the new album will be the band’s third under Potter and Garvey. However, he emphasized that the I Am Kloot experiences a different process when doing this one. He said the new album will have tracks that will satisfy fans who have always been critical about songs’ orchestrations. He ended that the tracks in the new LP will stand up even if those are stripped down. This, he said is what will make ‘Let It All In’ in a similar ground with the band’s first LP.
I Am Kloot is an English band that formed in 1999 in Manchester. The trio consists of Bramwell on vocals and guitar, Andy Hargreaves on drums, and Peter Jobson on bass. The group released ‘Natural History,’ its debut album in March 2001. The follow-up, the band’s self-titled album, was released in 2003.
