Sunburn Moves to Noida this Year

The Sunburn Festival, on its 6th consecutive year, is moving to another location.

 The 6th Sunburn Festival was held in Noida last October 7 to October 9. The musical extravaganza, the biggest music festival in Asia, enthralled its audience once again with electrifying performances. As a tradition, the festival dazzled the crowd with a unique mixture of international and local artists. The celebrations also highlighted euphoric environment and culinary delights. Some of the biggest names that graced the occasion this year were Afrojack, Prok+Fitch, Pearl, Ash Roy, Mash, Moguai, Shaan, Arjun VAgale, Astral Projection, and Bobby Burns.

The 6th Sunburn was the first time the festival was held outside Goa. It was divided into two stages. The best DJs performed and made people groove and sway to music. Organizer Nikhil Chinnappa hosted a post party celebration following the main festival. Overall, the festival was successful.

Noida is a development within the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. The name is an abbreviation for New Okhla Industrial Development Authority. The area was originally set up to be included in the urbanization thrust from 1975 to 1977. As a city, it was established under the UP Industrial Area Development Act.

Sunburn Festival is a celebration of electronic dance music held in various locations across India. The festivity is an amalgamation of entertainment, music, food, and shopping. CNN declared it the ninth best festival globally in 2009. The celebrations are held for three consecutive days. The festival is divided into numerous stages, with singers and other acts perform simultaneously. The event started in 2005.
