Names confirmed for RockNess festival: The Vaccines, The Maccabees and Example
The festival confirms first names to be included for the June even. The English indie rock band “The Vaccines” from West London and The Maccabees from England are included in the first names confirmed to headline for the RockNess festival 2013.
The Scottish festival which will takes place between June 7-9 at the Loch Ness has also confirmed numerous names which will have an appearance in the festival, it includes; Jessie Ware (Mercury Music Prize nominee), Ben Howard, Basement Jaxx, Bombay Bircycle Club, Ellie Goulding, Camera Obscura, Madness and Newton Faulkner. Also the English singer and rapper “Elliot John Gleave” better know to his stage name “Example” is confirmed to be the first act to headline in one of the scheduled dates.
When asked about the headline slot, Example stated: “Obviously, you know how much I love Scottish crowds. When “Changed The Way You Kissed Me” came out, I was on the Main Stage at RockNess before Magnetic Man and The Chemical Brothers. Thaw was a big moment for me”.
On the other hand, more acts and names to headline the festival will be announced on the next few days or weeks.
Last year’s RockNess festival was full of big name bands and artists including Biffy Clyro, Deadmau5 and Mumford & Sons. Elsewhere, the standard price of the tickets for the festival will cost £139 which is now available through the official website of the RockNess festival. There is still other option for the fans to get the tickets, there is a three instalments offer with a special payment plan.
A tragedy has happened last year’s Rockness festival after a 19 year old teenager died during the event and the reason is said to be suspected drugs overdose.
