The British singer has been dating Simon Konecki for several months. Although the romance is relatively new the pair couldn’t be closer, with claims they are already engaged after Adele was spotted wearing a band on her ring finger.

It’s now been suggested Adele is already making wedding plans. The 23-year-old singer would apparently love to jet to the US to tie the knot.

“They can hardly bare to be apart, and have already talked about spending the rest of their lives together. Adele’s never been one for big, over-the-top celebrations, so she’s told Simon she’d rather elope,” a source told Look magazine. “They’d gather about 20 of their close friends and family and go to Las Vegas for the ceremony. Then she and Simon would disappear to Memphis – Adele’s a big Elvis fan – for a romantic honeymoon.”

The pair would then host a lavish party back in the UK for their friends and family.

Adele recently started renting a ten-bedroom country home for £15,000 a month. It boasts a games room, helipad and swimming pool and it’s thought Simon is living there too.

However, it isn’t going to be a long-term arrangement as the couple are thought to be planning to buy a home together.

“They’ve been looking… around Brighton [in the UK], where they met,” the insider added.

Would you by the box set?

It all depends on whether you consider Motorhead to be worthy of the money that you are spending. The outburst from the group has brought to the fore a problem that has been plaguing the industry for a long time. The stars complain that they are forced to share their winnings with people that have absolutely nothing to do with the production of the work. This means that the artist is in effect being cheated by the very people that are supposed to be looking after them. The sorry state of affairs has not gone unnoticed in the wider circle of fans.

There are 15 discs in the set and you have to come up with the best part of $600 in order to purchase them. The compilation has been titled ‘The Complete Early Years’. For the band, this should represent an opportunity to reconnect with their fans. Unfortunately the fake skull does not do much to remove the impression that the producers are attempting to exploit the fans. This has been the common practice within the industry and Motorhead is exposed enough to know that the greedy middlemen will always demand their cut of the package.

A brief but effective tour

According to the itinerary that is planned for Fiona Apple, there will be a few events that are focused on the highlights of her career. Most of the action takes place in NYC and the critics might say that she could have spread her wings wider in order to net in all those fans that are looking forward to hearing from her. This is the kind of year that the singer will be looking forward to because there will be plenty to do. The fans are sufficiently anxious to see her on a tour that is more of a comeback rather than a new beginning. Epic is her label which has been struggling to get the new record going.

On the 19^th of March she will be in Chicago at the Lincoln Hall. The action then moves to Washington DC on the 21^st of that month. On the 23^rd she will be in New York at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. The next day she takes on the Atlantic City in New Jersey. On the 26^th of March she will be back in NYC at the Bowery Ballroom. Finally she will make it to Boston at the Royale Boston on the 27^th of March.

Did we finally get over the ‘Cool Britannia’ thing?

At the height of his powers, Tony Blair lurched onto the concept of Cool Britannia in order to raise the profile of this formerly great empire. It seems that they have not learned the lessons of the Millennium celebrations and are busy going back to the bad old days. The other performers include New Order and The Specials. The approximate cost of the tickets is $87 and the fans are promised something spectacular. A booking fee has been added for good measure. The official sales will begin on Friday at 9am GMT. Blur has a fairly busy schedule during this year. They will be performing at the Brit Awards. They also have collaboration projects with James Murphy and Andre 3000.

Surprisingly the home crowd is not particularly enamored of the Olympics. They feel that they are going to be inundated with refugees and other immigrations. The planning and hype will not have helped to lift the mood. Meanwhile politicians are desperate to shine in the reflected glory of famous bands such as Blur. That is the essence of British culture at the moment.

A great impact on the music industry in general

The group is spearheaded by Jas Shaw and James Ford. The duo went techno with their compilation which was provocatively titled ‘Delicacies’. This was in 2010 and the expectation is that they will come up with something that is even more impressive this time. You will find some featured songs which were previously released on a 12” vinyl system. The singles were inspired by some unusual foods which the duo sampled as they rushed across the globe when they were promoting their art.

So what should we prepare with ‘Unpatterns’. The list of hits includes ‘I Waited for You’, ‘Cerulean’, ‘Seraphim’ and ‘A Species Out of Control’. You also get ‘Interference’, ‘Put Your Hands Together’ and ‘The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife’. Finally you have ‘Your Love Ain’t Fair’ and ‘Pareidolia’. There is a bonus in the guise of ‘Everyday’. We are looking forward to the analogue elements which have defined the Simian Mobile Disco group. They have produced such great bands including the Arctic Monkeys. You can therefore expect some really great things.

The soul diva is interrupted by another act

It was rather annoying for the Tottenham soul singer when she was being interrupted by the star of Gavin and Stacy. Apparently it was designed to allow Blur to kick off their show which was in danger of clashing with the great singer before them. The comedian gave an interview to ITV2 in which he said that he was not quite clear why they forced him to cut out Adele. On might have assumed that the program makers would only be happy to showcase one of the leading acts in Britain at the moment. The singer was denied the chance to say thank you while Blur had the chance to play for up to 11 minutes.

When the controversy threatened the narrative, Adele clarified that the gesture was aimed at “the suits, not the fans”. It is quite clear that the program makers did not have their priorities straight. In the end they ended up causing offense to both the parties involved. This is not discounting the discomfort that James Corden during the entire episode. The commercialization of these events can actually end up spoiling the entire vibe.

At the moment the album review is struggling to place the Alabama Shakes. Are they part of the blues tradition or is it a case of moving into pop? For some people this is a negative attribute but we feel that the integrity of the album is intact. Remember that the creators are part of the Occupy Wall Street movement. You are not likely to get many political Conservatives buying the record. The transition from a Leftwing protester to a serious artist can be difficult but they seem to have handled the issues well. One of the most amazing things is the distinct quality of Brittany Howard. As a lead singer you could not fault her for giving the band a brand.

The numbers are portrayed with authority and distinction. You may not enjoy the soulful nature of the complaints but there is absolutely no doubt that these are heartfelt lyrics. In this album review we were impressed by the ability of the Alabama Shakes to bring out the music using nothing more than simple descriptions. The complexity of the sound is a winning formula and it means that those people who listen to them without prejudice will find something worthwhile. The band is suitably supportive and they manage to create a unique R&B sound which is notorious difficult to achieve. We were particularly impressed by the management of the guitar sounds.

This is a band that is breaking the mainstream stereotypes without actually annoying use. The Alabama Shakes combine the ability to sing with a real message. They are not too obvious with the lyrics but the sound will tell you everything that you need to know. This is not some manufactured band but a real gem. You are going to be put off by their politics. Please make sure that you listen to the music without actually thinking about the background.

Editor rating: This gem deserves 4.5 stars out of 5. They restore our faith in music. We can tolerate the hype for the moment.

The singer is currently dating backing dancer Casper Smart following the breakdown of her marriage to Marc Anthony last year.

The 42-year-old star is known for jumping into relationships quickly and it’s been claimed she is already contemplating tying the knot with her 24-year-old beau.

“Jennifer wants to play Henry Higgins to his Eliza Doolittle, to reverse that old story around,” another insider revealed to the publication. “But it’s important that he be his own man and be totally a man in the bedroom.

“If he keeps going like he has been, I think this relationship will have legs.”

The Evanescence star has been confessing to a few small sins in a new interview. Amy has embarrassingly admitted she could be classed as a thief as she used to take advantage of film memorabilia on cinema trips with friends.

“Actually I have,” she revealed to Kerrang! magazine when asked if she’s ever stolen anything.

“When I was younger, me and my friends used to steal movie posters. I didn’t even want to do it, but I guess I was feeling the peer pressure. I can’t remember which movie posters I even had, but you can bet they weren’t good ones!”

Amy has also revealed her first memory. The songstress has recalled trying to tame a wasp, which had nasty repercussions.

“I remember being stung by a wasp,” she said. “I was a toddler and I thought it would be cool to see if I could catch this thing, which I managed because wasps are really quite slow.

“But then it stung me and I remember being shocked by the pain. I went running indoors to my parents, sobbing.”

The raven-haired singer also revealed the last time she cried. Amy isn’t afraid to show her emotions.

“Last week,” she said. “I didn’t cry about anything in particular, I just tend to cry to release stress. It’s kind of like a pressure valve for me.”

The hip-hop star has worked with many famous faces in music industry, such as Timbaland, Ne-Yo and Pharrell.

Used to the showbiz lifestyle, the 34-year-old decided to inject some glamour into his friend’s birthday party over the weekend. A group were celebrating the unknown man’s special day at Club Compound in Atlanta on Saturday when Fabolous arranged for the phenomenal amount of Rosé Moët to be delivered to their table.

“Rapper Fabolous got a record number of people wasted last weekend in Atlanta – dropping $45,000 on 120 bottles of champagne at a nightclub… and it was all a favour for his good friend,” reports TMZ.

All the stops were pulled out to deliver the drinks. Rather than simply putting them in a bucket and decorating with a napkin, the bottles arrived in a golden carriage.

The vehicle is known as a litter and has no wheels – it is similar to the carriage which carried upper class women around many years ago. It usually boasts four handles coming out of the corners, which are rested on men’s shoulders as they carry it along.

Fabolous was apparently hosting the party, so decided to ensure it went with a swing by paying for drinks for everyone at the venue.
